Packaging Instructions
When possible use the original packing material.
If the original packing material is not available:
- Insert or wrap and protect all ESD sensitive components seperately in either static dissipative or static shielded packaging or materials.
- Wrap each item seperately. Fragile components need adequate cushioning from each other and the sides of the box.
- Use enough cushioning material inside the box and around each item so that the contents cannot move when you shake the box.
- Do not bend fiber cables more than the maximum allowable fiber bend radius.
- Use adaquate protection when covering sensitive fiber tips or optical components.
- Use a double box method for shipping all fragile electronic/optical components and equipment.
Write the RMA number on the outside of the box, or include it on the shipping label. Items returned without the RMA number on the outside of the box may be returned to you without processing.
